Graduating from Camberwell (2008), University the Arts London. Ross has since busied himself on projects, written books, run a print press, worked in a sustainability agency, birthed an alter ego writing pseudonym, designed for restaurants, charities and various independent studios.
Ross enjoys working with projects and organisations creating workshops, dinners, games, thinking about language, and is interested in societies relationship to our natural and built environment. The labour and domestic work divide. Ritual and ceremony in contemporary society amongst other things.
Visually Ross is interested in the communication that surrounds these topics and themes, how to represent them better, or at least away from a conditioned commercial world. Ross works with typography, creating bespoke typefaces, often from scratch and also sampling and hacking existing forms, appropriating them for his needs.
